A Message from the Groetzner Family

The words "thank you" just aren't enough ...

Perhaps you sent a lovely card,

Or sat quietly in a chair.

Perhaps you sent a floral piece,

If so we saw it there.

Perhaps you spoke the kindest words,

As any friend would say;

Perhaps you were not there at all,

Just thought of us that day,

Whatever you did to console our hearts,

We thank you so much whatever the part.

We are truly blessed to have had Vincent with us for 7 wonderful years, to see just how many hearts he had touched, and to know that his love and memory will live on in us.

We are so thankful for all of the love and support we have received at this tragic time. I’m sure I’m missing some emails and I know I don’t have everyone’s physical mailing addresses, so please forward this to anyone I may have missed. Thank you all so much.

For Love...

A message from Lisa:

As many of you already know, it is with a heavy heart that we have to say our final goodbyes to our amazing little man Vincent.

A children’s calling hour will be held from 4-5 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at the Allen J. Harden Funeral Home in Mount Dora with calling hours for the public immediately following from 5-7 p.m. A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m.

A funeral mass will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 18, 2010 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Mount Dora, FL with Father Blase Romano as Celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to “The Vincent Groetzner Memorial Arts Scholarship Fund”, 17455 S.E. 83^rd Cottonwood Terrace, Lady Lake, FL 32162-2807.

At the children’s calling hour, we will be sharing pictures of Vincent with his many wonderful friends, and have a place for your child to leave a goodbye note or picture if it helps them with this difficult process. If anyone has pictures or stories to share we would appreciate it.

The outpouring of love we have received is amazing, and it warms my heart to see and hear how many hearts Vincent has touched. We are truly blessed.
